Since 2006, I've been on a financial journey to learn about money, saving, investing, real estate and small business. During my 23 year career in the U.S. Navy along with my wife, we tried investments and ventures to improve our position and have available funds for whatever the future may hold for us along the way.
I do firmly believe that saving and investing is a Life Skill that everyone needs to embrace throughout their adulthood, akin to cooking, cleaning, home maintenance, and basic auto maintenance. Since I'm no different than any other middle-aged adult in the workforce, I hope to serve as an example that it's okay to try, experiment, fail a few times, and pick up the pieces and try again.
I am by no means a certified financial expert. But with budgeting, planning, and trying a few paths along the way, anyone can forge the path to their own financial success and have the resources to fund anything life has to offer!
